Our first project was a new school in West Bengal for children under 15 years old. In addition to the long-lasting impact of the covid situation, existing schools are severely lacking in basic supplies of educational tools like stationary, mathematical equipment, and classroom equipment.

Starting point

The first step to understand the scope of the project was to learn what shaped a child's learning experience here and to find out how we could make improvements.

Support from local communities

Location, scale, and accessibility was absolutely crucial to this project. We wanted to make the biggest but most realistic impact to the educational landscape in West Bengal.

End result

Contextualizing the needs of schoolchildren, their parents, and their educators helped us to construct a well-equipped, bright, and accessible place of learning.
